We send our kids to creches, playhouses and schools assuming that these are safe places however, we should be informed about the kind of ambience it has to offer for the kid. Who knows your child might be a victim of bullying at this apparently friendly and non-hostile place?

When a kid is constantly tortured mentally and even physically he or she might develop behavorial disorders. The kid will lose all his confidence and this will leave an ugly mark in his personality for the rest of his life. It is better as parents one takes up action fast so, that the child gets saved from ruining his whole development for some big bully.

Tips To Save Your Kid From A Bully

Listen: You may be very busy throughout the day, but after you reach home find some time to spend with the kid, try to create a non-threatening condition where your kid can reveal whatever that is worrying him or her. Kids often don’t understand how they will be accepted if they speak out, so, make them realise that you are not only his parent but also a friend.

Be Positive: If you find out that your kid’s mates have been cruel enough to call them, ‘fat’,’ ugly’ etc, then try to show them the positive attributes they have. If your kid is really overweight don’t try to convince them otherwise because they can sense sincerity.

Role Play: Ask the kid to act out what had happened. Make him do it twice so that you can understand how your child reacts to that — whether he is sad or angry or confused. This will help you do deal with the situation by suggesting him ways.

Try to convince your kid to fight his own war, in caser the situation is too bad then you complain to the school authorities. Do not let your kids play with kids who do not have good influences.
