AIU National Youth Leadership Camp At Jadavpur University

The third AIU (Association of Indian Universities) Inter-University National Youth Leadership Camp (YLC) is going to take place at JU ,i.e., Jadavpur University in Kolkata. The camp is scheduled to commence from November 1st and will continue till the 7th of the same.

The Aim Of The Camp

The aim of the camp is to mobilise the youth of today’s India. Motivating and developing skills are the main focus areas. India has a set of unique problems and the power to change the face of the society lies within the youth of a nation;so it becomes very important for us to formulate ways to shape the future of our nation. The topics that are to be discussed are reflective of all these.

Topics that are going to be dealt with are:

  • Gender Sensitivity
  • Literacy
  • Education and Skill Development
  • Personality Development
  • Presentation Skills and Communication
  • Health Issues
  • Leadership
  • Environment
  • Team Building

Apart from the above some other contemporary issues are also to be dealt with. In addition to all these outdoor activities

Participation Of Students

An amount of Rs. 1500 per student should be sent by the partipating universities.This includes the expenses that will be spend on food and lodging and other facilities, these facilities include course materials, for conducting the different classes. The bank drafts is to be sent to AIU and it has to be issued with the name of Secretary General of the Association of Indian Universities.
