Another Successful ‘Tatva’ from IMT Ghaziabad

In its attempt to bring its students closer to the real life situations IMT Ghaziabad like every year had organized TATVA which was inaugurated on 9th October. It is a summer internship programme with several colleges participating to compete for cash prizes.

It has repeated its previous success this year too. It was flooded with more than 200 entries coming from different B-Schools all over India like FMS, IIMs, IIFT, IMT and several others.

What is Tatva?

Tatva denotes the five elements of life – water (jal), fire (agni), wind (vaayu), void (aakash) and metal (dhatu). These five elements taken together bring about our success. They stand for knowledge, attitude, hard work, knowledge, diligence and creative.

Why is it Organized?

Tatva was conceptualized by IMT so that the students are able to showcase their talents as well as attain insights into the business world complete with real life situations and obstacles.

Management students are expected to be familiar with all contemporary issues so that they are better equipped to handle the hard core corporate world. IMT also wants its students to get the feel of competition as students from the best colleges come to participate.

Selection Process

After a meticulous procedure of elimination followed by selection, the three best projects are selected for different areas. The four specialized areas for which selections are done are –

Many big companies are associated with the event like Dabur, Bank of Baroda, Moserbaer, IDEA cellular, NTPC, SAIL and many others. The media partners are The Economic Times, Navbharat Times, rediff.com and Radio Mirchi.
