Zenith Announces Affordable Range of Laptops and Desktops

Under the brand name of “Ecostyle” Zenith computers has launched their affordable range of computers. Zenith’s low-cost range of PC’s and laptops are launched in collaboration with the software giant Microsoft. As per the company Zenith Ecostyle laptops are the lowest priced Windows OS enabled laptops available in the market.
Zenith’s Ecostyle laptops and PC’s are available at the exclusive showroom and authorized dealers of Zenith across India. Zenith Ecostyle Desktop is available at a price of Rs.11, 999 whereas the cost of Zenith’s Ecostyle Laptops is Rs.14, 999. The company claims that Ecostyle products are highly energy efficient and does not contains any toxic material. As compared to other existing models Ecostyle range consumes 30% less power.
Ecostyle laptops are aesthetically designed keeping in mind the various needs of youth. The Ecostyle laptop is packed with Microsoft productivity suite like Windows XP Home Edition operating system, Microsoft Windows Live Suite inclusive of Messenger, Email Client and Family Safety from Windows Live OneCare and Microsoft Works including PPT viewer, Word processor and spreadsheets.
CMD, Zenith Computers, Raj Saraf during the launch ceremony said: “This initiative is a part of our continuous effort to foster advanced and hassle free computing experience. The initial Rs.10, 000 PC was launched with much fanfare, however it failed to perform. With the Ecostyle PC, Zenith is bringing a true low-cost PC which underlines performance and affordability for the consumers.”
Commenting on this special initiative, Chairman, Microsoft India, Ravi Venkatesan said: “Under the Microsoft Unlimited Potential initiative, our effort is to bring sustained social and economic opportunity to people who currently don’t enjoy the benefits of technology. Our aim is to propel a wider acceptance for IT amongst the masses by extending an opportunity to learn, connect, create, and succeed by combining advanced technologies and relevant partnerships.”
The dimensions of portable Zenith Ecostyle PC are 185mm X 250mm X 70mm and it weighs around 2.2kg. This portable Ecostyle PC is available with an option of Microsoft Windows XP Home Operating system or Windows Vista Starter. Similarly to laptops, desktops are integrated with Microsoft productivity suite.
