Run for Better Health

Running is good for people who want to lead a healthy life and live long. Middle-age runners were 50% likely to die over a span of 20- year period as compared to those who did not run.
Running means less risk of heart disease, cancer as well as neurological diseases, which includes Alzheimer. This was highlighted in a study conducted by researches from Stanford University in California.
Rigorous exercise helps, according to James Fries who participated in the study. According to him, regular vigorous exercise is important. Those who took to running when they were older also improved their health.
Physical exercise is good to maintain good health. Those who remained fit maintained better health. The exercise should be regular.
