Miss India’s Mega Blunder at Miss Universe 2008

Miss Venezuela seemed the rightful winner of the Miss Universe 2008 crown especially if you see our very own Indian contestant who did her own bit to stay out of competition. Simran Kaur Mundi was representing India at the Miss Universe pageant.
She seemed to be doing well in the beauty department but that was it. The girl was terribly handicapped in the brains department and she could not hide it. Anyways, she is no exception. Since 2000, after Lara Dutta, we’ve seen similar stuff. But this would be the landmark year. And wow! What answers in the world Miss India Simran Kaur came up with.
When she was asked about her chances of finishing in the top five, Miss Mundi replied “I’ve confidence in myself.” Oh yeah! And what do you think other contestants have? Severe inferiority complexes?
Thats not all, when she was asked about the man of her choice, she said she wants to fall in love with an intelligent man who is also caring and decisive. Of course, as if other contestants wanted to fall in love with Mr. Bean.
And the icing on the cake was - When Miss Mundi was asked what would she do with a million dollars, she said, “I would give it to charity because I don’t know what to do with that much money.”
