Samsung’s 5 Megapixel Mobile Phone Launched

Samsung’s flagship model SGH U900 is finally launched in Indian market. Along with the Samsung’s best model 8 other mobile phones and mobile accessories where launched. Sunil Dutt, Country Head, Samsung India while announcing the launch said: “These phones target today’s style-conscious consumers, looking for a perfect blend of outstanding quality, design and performance. We are confident that that these will enhance the Samsung consumer experience in the premium phone category.”
The key feature of Samsung U900 is the “Magic Touch by DaCP”. According to the user’s need Magic Touch changes the navigation indicator on the keypad. This could be better explained with the help of an example: in case of music mode on the navigation indicator music related icons will light-up. In the same way in camera mode related icons like brightness and zoom icon will appear.
Though the phone is 12.9mm thin but it is equipped with specialized photographic functions including a 5 megapixel camera. Other unique features of Samsung U900 are listed below:
- Face detection
- Wide Dynamic Range (WDR)
- Image stabilizer
- 7.2 Mpbs HSDPA
The phone also features digital power amplifier by ICE power technology and music library navigation which is a feast for music lovers. And due to the presence of 7.2 Mpbs HSDPA songs can be downloaded at a higher speed. Samsung U900 is priced around Rs.20,585.
