Yash Raj Celebrates Romance this Year

Yash Raj Films released five movies in 2007, Siddharth Anand’s Ta Ra Rum Pum,
Shaad Ali’s Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Shimit Amin’s Chak De! India, Pradeep Sarkar’s Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, and Anil Mehta’s Aaja Nachle. Out these five only Chak De! India was a hit.
So Yash Raj Films don’t need to worry about the failure of Tashan, although they had great expe
ctations from this film. Tashan was a mad mix of three different genre’s action-comedy-romance out of which none of the genre’s stood out.
But Yash Raj Films are looking forward to a great year with four more movies lined up. Kunal Kohli’s Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, Siddharth Anand’s Bachna Ae Haseeno, Jugal Hansraj’s Roadside Romeo, Aditya Chopra’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.
Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic stars Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee, Bachna Ae Haseeno has Ranbir Kapoor in the lead with Deepika Padukone and Bipasha Basu, Roadside Romeo is an animated movie with Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor lending their voices, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is said to have Shahrukh Khan in the lead.
We hope YRF cracks one big hit out of these four.
