What Lies Beneath Makeup

Whoever said beauty is skin deep must have met our Bollywood babes without make-up. We have no clue what all goes into making actresses look pretty onscreen.
Make-up artists work overtime to tone down Kareena Kapoor’s pale complexion into a dewy peaches and plum complexion. They work hard to create a balance between Aishwarya’s big eyes and huge lips. All the colored lenses, fake eyelashes and foundation makes Karisma Kapoor prettier than she actually is. Rani Mukherjee needs huge amounts of concealer under her eyes to get rid of her dark circles and loads of foundation to even her complexion out. Sushmita Sen also needs a generous amount of make-up to look pretty.
Make-up is actually a science that highlights a person’s best features and plays down their worst. Well that way… a good make-up artist can make anyone beautiful.
