How Safe Are Senior Tourists in India?
India has been host to numerous senior travelers owing to the rich cultural heritage, spiritual significance and the reasonable therapies which it provides. As a result senior tourists can always relax in the scenic beauty and get themselves treated for ailments at economical rates.
Spiritual Sites
As a convention, senior tourists prefer to travel to spiritual sites like Varanasi, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Vaishno Devi, Amritsar and Amarnath to name a few. Some preferred Buddhist sites visited by senior tourists include Sarnath, Bodh Gaya and Lumbini. Spiritual sites always have comfortable accommodation facilities organized for senior travelers.

Not all areas are open to tourists but who wouldn’t want to sail down the Dal Lake or get their feet on the Ladakh glaciers? Cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mysore, Bangalore (now Bangaluru) are just what senior tourists are looking forward to experience and carry back memories to their homelands. Besides, the cities are flanked with modern amenities, ATM’s and shopping malls which make things more convenient and easily accessible for senior travelers.
