Bachchans Celebrate the Power of Sarkar Raj

After the debacle of Nishabd and Aag, people have become rather cynical of Ram Gopal Varma’s movies, but RGV is a lucky man to have got the three powerful Bachchans – Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya in his sequel to Sarkar. That would be a reason enough to get the audiences flock to the cinema halls.

RGV launched Sakar Raj at JW Marriott, Mumbai as Jaya and Amitabh Bachchan graced the occasion with Amar Singh. Abhishek and Aishwarya Bachchan who were coincidentally celebrating their first wedding anniversary addressed the press straight from Miami through a videoconference.

Abhishek who plays Sarkar Subhash Nagre’s son Shankar Nagre takes over as Sarkar. And unfortunately we wont see Aishwarya Bachchan as Abhishek’s wife but as a shrewd businesswoman.

Talking about the film Abhishek said, “I have tried to look as intense as possible in this film as it demanded that amount of intensity from me. The movie shows how Sarkar Subhash Nagre takes a backseat and his son Shankar Nagre takes matters in his hands.”

Bachchans are a big brand in India and surely as Ram Gopal Varma claimed, “Sarkar Raj , the film belongs to me but the power belongs to the Bachchans.”

Wait for the promos.
