Its crazy how the Indians are ga-ga over Bollywood’s golden couple Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan. The couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary on April 20, 2008 in Miami and people wanted to know how their married life has been.

Aishwarya says, “Marriage is such a unique and beautiful experience in my life. I’ve found a wonderful new family. My maiden family and this family together provide me with more than enough happiness and security. What more could I ask for?”

Although there has been a phenomenal change in how people view Aishwarya Rai as Mrs. Abhishek Bachchan now, but Aishwarya maintains that things are just the same as ever. She says, “When I went back on the sets after marriage, there was no change at all. There has been a normal flow before and after marriage. Everyone wants to know how marriage has changed my life. Nothing has changed at all. Life has been one smooth flow. And though I didn’t plan such a marriage, I wouldn’t want it any other way. It has been wonderful on both the personal and professional front.”

Aishwarya is in her mid-thirties and has reached her peak as an actress in the last five years but before the wrinkles start showing up on her face, I guess she prefers to go the Madhuri and the Sridevi way and become a home bird. The glow and chubbiness of her face indicate that she might be expecting but Aishwarya says she is, as of now, completely devoted to her work. People in the industry say that she has become more selective after marriage.

“I’ve committed myself to a couple of films now. I really don’t know if I’m going to get more selective, because I never do more than three films a year. Let’s see what the future holds. So many films I’ve let go because of the time factor,” said Aishwarya.

The time surely seems on the run for Aishwarya. With her biological clock ticking she has little time to ensure that she has a smooth sail both on the professional and home front.
