Yahoo’s delay in Negotiating irks Microsoft

Microsoft’s attempt at buying Yahoo does not seem to be a successful bit. Though Microsoft is trying hard to make Yahoo come to its terms by threatening to pull out, Yahoo is proving itself equally tough by not buckling under any pressure.

Yahoo, Google’s competitor in the field of online advertising, is clear about what it wants. No amount of baiting and abetting by Microsoft will work here. If Microsoft successfully takes over Yahoo, Microsoft will come to play face-to-face with Google in the arena of advertising.

Microsoft wants things faster and like a Big Brother it is flexing its arms. It announced that any further delay on Yahoo’s part would mean Microsoft is bound to seek other alternatives. Microsoft’s aggressive marketing strategy makes others feel jittery and no doubt Yahoo is likely to develop cold feet amidst Microsoft’s calculated pressure tactics.

So long it has been a one sided show and we do not know what Yahoo is thinking. Is it reiterating the share value quoted so far or that it does not want to get any further with this issue? Let us wait and watch about what announcement Yahoo is going to finally make while tension is building up. As negotiations seem not to end at all or is that Yahoo is unwilling to negotiate for any other reason is not very clear.

Our insignificant assumptions about the whole situation seem to be filling in the silence that Yahoo is smartly maintaining. Yahoo with its shrewd business acumen makes aggressive muscle-flexing Microsoft look pathetically goofed
